The mission of the Yellowhammer Learning Program is to help close the achievement gap and prevent summer learning loss in Greensboro, Alabama. The YLP will work toward this mission by hosting a multi-week summer learning program in which students will strengthen their literacy and math skills. Additionally, the YLP is invested in helping students grow as scholars and citizens through participation in academic field trips, community engagement, and other enrichment opportunities.
Your gift to the Yellowhammer Learning Program will help us to provide a life-changing summer learning experience for our students. There are three ways to give and all gifts are tax deductible:
$25 - offset the cost of transportation to and from the program for one student
$50 - provide school supplies for five students
$100 - offset the cost of meals for one camper
$500 - sponsor a class set of books
$1,000 - sponsor one of the four Parent Night events
$2,000 - sponsor the student assessments that will be administered before, during, and after the program
